  We were visiting the keys for the first time. Stopped by for dinner after a locals recommendation. We had both great food and great service. Some of the best grilled Mahi Mahi we have ever had. Highly recommend.

  Don't waste your time if with family for dinner...good to sit at bar and have a drink and watch sports.

  Great food with standard higher local pricing. The fried mahi dinner came with two sides. The price was great and was seasoned. The portion of the rice was satisfactory. The fish portion was actually surprising which made my 20 dollar purchase mostly worth while as well. The service on a Friday evening can be a hit or miss however but that's most likely due to the absence of enough wait staff.

  The Thursday evening was busy for this establishment, yet we were properly greeted and seated within fifteen minutes.
  I had a rib eye steak that was exquisite, cooked exactly right, and a huge portion. I give them thumbs up also for their mashed sweet potatoes.
  My wife had the Lobster Ruben sandwich and onion rings. The sandwich was perfect and also a huge portion. The onion rings were just right, no grease with them. We both had to have a carryout.
  Last night we had a dinner at a place on the water north of them, they don't hold a candle to Grill and Ale and the cost was twice the price!
  If you're in the area and want a great meal, make it a point to make it to the Marathon Grill and Ale (you will not be sorry)

  Debbie was a great waitress! The sauce the claims were in was delicious. Loved the music and atmosphere. All worthy of a return trip. The guys playing music stopped rather early around 7:30. We would have had another beer if they continued to play. It was a Friday night.
